Applications:

1. The use of sodium hydrosulfite is very wide, mainly including reduction dyeing, reduction cleaning, printing and decolorization in the textile industry, as well as bleaching of silk, wool, nylon and other fabrics. Since sodium hydrosulfite does not contain heavy metals, the color of the bleached fabric is very bright and not easy to fade.

2. Sodium hydrosulfite can also be used for food bleaching, such as gelatin, sucrose, candied fruit, etc., as well as soap, animal (plant) oil, bamboo, porcelain clay bleaching.

3. In the field of organic synthesis, sodium hydrosulfite is used as a reducing agent or bleaching agent in the production of dyes and medicines, especially as a bleaching agent for wood pulp papermaking.
