Application
1. In the food industry, sodium tripolyphosphate is used as a quality improver and moisture retainer, especially in canned food, fruit juice drinks, dairy products and soy milk products, which can improve the texture and taste of food and also help keep the food fresh.
2. In detergents, sodium tripolyphosphate is used as an auxiliary agent to enhance the washing effect. It prevents the active ingredients in detergents from combining with these ions by chelating metal ions in hard water, thereby improving the washing efficiency.
3. In water purification, sodium tripolyphosphate can combine with metal ions in water to form soluble chelates, thereby reducing the hardness of water and is widely used in water purification.
4. In the ceramic industry, sodium tripolyphosphate is used to improve the fluidity of ceramic body glaze slurry and reduce production costs, especially in the production of sanitary ceramics, which can improve the quality of products.
5. In other industrial applications, such as petroleum, metallurgy, mining, papermaking, etc., sodium tripolyphosphate also plays an important role, such as as a dispersant in the petroleum industry, as a water softener in metallurgy and mining, and as an anti-oil agent in the papermaking industry.
